The Gift is a hauntingly beautiful novel from Cecelia Ahern. Though short this story is excellently crafted, with an inspired idea that will stay engraved in your mind long after reading.
Lou Suffern wishes he could be in two places at once. His constant battle with the clock is a sensitive issue with his wife and family.
Gabe is the homeless man who sits outside Lou’s office. When Lou invites Gabe into the building and into his life, Lou’s world changed beyond all measure.
This Christmas themed novel is incredibly thoughtful, with a underlying darkness that only Cecelia Ahern can thread through a story about love and life.
You won’t know what’s hit you at the end of this beautiful read, but you may wish to think on the message within.
